1. Do you support my phone? Top

IRBmobile is supported on the devices listed below. The device must be on the supported devices list AND be running a supported Operating System version. The following devices and operating systems have been tested thoroughly with IRBmobile. IRBmobile may be functional on other devices, but IRBsearch® cannot guarantee all features will operate correctly.

iPhone OS 3.0 or above, Default Browser
iPod Touch OS 3.0 or above, Default Browser
iPad OS 3.0 or above, Default Browser
HTC Hero Android 1.6 or above, Default Browser
HTC Evo Android 1.6 or above, Default Browser
Motorola Droid Android 1.6 or above, Default Browser

This list will be updated as more devices are thoroughly tested.  If you’ve successfully used IRBmobile on devices not listed above, let us know!  Email customerservice@irbmobile.com so we can update our list.

 

2. What browser is needed for the IRBmobile administration page? Top

The IRBmobile administration site (irbmobile.com/admin) may be accessed from your desktop computer on the following browsers:

  • Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher
  • Firefox 3.0 or higher
  • Safari 3.0 or higher
  • Google Chrome
  • Opera 10.0 or higher

 

3. Why do I have to periodically re-enter my password? Top

After three minutes of inactivity on IRBmobile, customers will be prompted to re-enter their IRBmobile login credentials: account number, login ID, and password. This is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing your account.

 

4. Are other searches available on IRBmobile? Top

IRBmobile currently features the Person Search and the Motor Vehicle Search. IRB is releasing a new Arrest & Incarceration Search on April 1, 2012. This search will be exclusive to IRBmobile so now is the perfect time to activate your IRBmobile account! Additional searches and features are planned for the future, so stay tuned!

 

5. Can I add a user to my IRBmobile account? Top

Users can be added to an existing IRBmobile account on the IRBmobile administration page. Choose “User Administration” on the Company Menu. Choose the “Add New User” button and enter the new user’s information.
