| Obtain instant access to motor vehicle driving records from the states of AL, DE, FL, IL, IN, IA, KS, ME, MN, MS, NE, NC, RI, SC, TN, UT, VT, WV.
Beginning on November 7th, 2008 IRBsearch® will offer detailed driving history reports—also referred to as Motor Vehicle Reports, or MVRs—as part of our licensing search options.
Motor vehicle reports are documents that contain detailed information on a subject’s driving history and may include accidents, suspensions, and violations. Reports are available for some states in either a 3-year or 7-year review.
To gain access to driving records, customers must sign an MVR agreement with IRBsearch®. This signed document acknowledges customers have read and understand all applicable state and federal laws; reports cannot be used by any permissible purpose as defined by FCRA and must follow DPPA.
Locating Motor Vehicle Driving Records
You can request a Motor Vehicle Driving record using the following criteria:
- Last Name
- First Name
- Middle Name
- License Number
- Date of Birth
- State
Not all states require the same information to conduct a search. It is best to input as much information as you have and then choose which state you wish to conduct your search in. The input boxes will highlight for any required fields for the state you have chosen. If you are unable to fill in the required field, you will not be allowed to proceed with a search within that state.
After inputting the required information, click the "Report" button. You then may choose your report type of Plain Text Web Page, Microsoft Word Document or PDF Document. Click the "Purchase Report" button to view your report.
Results vary from state to state but may include:
- General Information - such as the drivers license number, drivers license state, drivers license status and other information normally found on the drivers license.
- Activity Information - such as violations, accidents, suspensions or any other activity relating to the drivers license.
Pricing
The cost of a motor vehicle report is $7.00 plus the corresponding state fee. A state-by-state cost listing of motor vehicle reports is available on the IRBsearch® homepage under the “Apply” drop-down menu.
