Types of Searches
Choose from more than 40 individual searches or numerous multiple-search
reports to locate information on your subject. The primary search
categories include People, Businesses, Assets, Licenses, Phones, and Courts. Within each category
are detailed searches providing more options. For example, under the People
category your search options include Person Search, Advanced Person Search, People
at Work, Instant ID, People in the News, and Death Record searches.
Every IRBsearch® results page also provides the option of running
Reports to get even more itemized information on your subject.
Coverage & Help
Customers can access coverage information for all searches
within our database. A globe
icon is located in the top right-hand corner of every search
page. Simply click on the
icon to view all coverage information for that particular
search; coverage varies for each
search.

Exporting/Downloading
Searches and Reports
Icons on each search results page allow
results to be emailed, copied and pasted to Word,
or exported to Excel. Reports may be saved as
a PDF or Word document. Report options
also include a checkbox to save reports for later access.
Reference
Codes for Searches
Reference code fields are available prior to each search
you conduct. Reference codes will show up under the
Activity tab on Manage Account. You may choose to code
your searches however you like. For example: ABC Case, DEF-1234,
12/31/06, are all ways to identify your research.

My Account
When you are logged in to IRBsearch®, the My Account section allows
you to:
- View a summary of your account, including company
and user information, and company ID number
- Manage users
and your company
- Enable and disable the types of searches
to which users in your company have access
- Change password
and account preferences
- View activity and manage your
reports
- Monitor company security
